Jeff, I have been wanting to take the time to set down and thank you and your boys for your southern hospitality when me and my dad came down to look at your dogs. Sorry it has took so long to get back with you between work, family, and running beagles, it takes a lot of my time. I have looked at beagles that people have wanted to sell from Missippii, Idiana, Tennessee, and most people tell you that the dog will do more than what it is really capable of doing. I drove 8 hours from West Virginia to South Carolina to look at one of your dogs that you had for sell on your website, Bandit. I called you before coming down, you told me about the dog, it sounded good but I was not sure if you were blowing the dog up and really had the capabilities that you informed me of. After arriving at your home and running dogs 5pm to 11pm Bandit was everything you said he was and more. We really appreciate your honesty! I have been running Bandit a little over a month now and he can flat lock on and run a rabbit. He his not quite a slab or a pap yet haha. Also, my dad wants to thank you for the rabbit trap, it has come in very handy. Thanks again, May God bless you and your family.

Brother Jeff:
As always it was good to visit with you and your boys yesterday, and as always I think I came home with a great hound. I had chemo today and couldn't run but had afriend of mine run the 8 month old Slab Town pup I bought from you yesterday. Here is the report in his words, "She is the best green started pup I have ever seen. I ran her with 2 other young dogs and a 3 year-old male that is the best track dog I have ever seen but about a 4 in speed. She kept up even leading the race a few times and out 9 checks in 2 1/2 hours she got 3. The old dog got the rest."
Already registered her. Official name is Morris' Slabtown Cocoa Courtney.
Also I didn't think to ask while I was there if you have room for another Short Bus Male this summer. I have an outstanding male that turns 2 in August. 2 seconds, a third and a 4th in derby. If you have room I'd love to get him to you.
Also, the dog I had seen on the website that I thought about is Emarld Farm Double Tuff. What can you tell me about her? You know what I run.
I'm sold on G&S! You can use anything I say in your advertising!
God Bless Brother!

Donnie Barham's New Pack From G&S July 2 2008
|
Donnie called a few weeks back and was looking for a pack of dog after being out of rabbit hunting for a few years. I told him about four Super nice dogs that could get it done in any conditions these were MAJOR League rabbit hounds...
He drove 5 hours to get here, he knew we had not had any rain for the last three weeks and temps were over 90' but we told him our dogs could run no matter what and we don't make excuses we just let our dogs do the barking
We turned them loose and they really showed the kind of dogs we sell the kind most won't ever let go of...
Well they ran the SAME rabbit over two hours and really made him move..
Donnie said they were far better than he thought they would be and that it was nice to find someone that told the truth about dogs. Talk about hunt, brains and stamina they have it all. He liked the four so much he bought two more and had to buy a dog box from us to get them all home
If you want to know about G&S dogs and the packs we can put together just give Donnie a call
and see what he thinks about us
