Just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that the Rex male has really made up with me good now and barks and wags his tail when he see's me coming. He also is showing way above average hunt. He moves around a little too much at times to be a consistant trial dog, but not enough to disrupt the pack as he is very clean with his mouth. So far I've not seen him turn down a briar patch at all, even when there is no scent on the ground around it he will still bust the brush and he hunts about 30-40 yards of me and has a great handle on him now. Very pleased with him. The Big male I just bought, Star, will trial up in these parts under most of the judges we have. He also is showing my a bit more hunt than I expected. He needs a little rabbit scent to hit the really heavy stuff, but Rex is normally already in there so Star is getting the jump sometimes as well. I braced him down with the little Star female I have to use her as a measuring stick as she will tell on a dog that tips over the end much at all. She runs about 5-6 and will run front, rear or whatever in a brace but prefers the 2 or 3 slot in a pack. Anyway after bracing the 2 of them down the ended up running a huge buck rabbit. They locked on and ran him like the had radar. I came in the house for a little while but I'm sure they circled him at least 4 times and ran him solid for about 50 minutes with very few checks and they were picked up quick. Even though he's 13 1/2 and the Star female is about 12 1/2 they run about the same speed. You could have thrown a blanket over the 2 of them at any time and the run was almost a constant roar. His mouth seems to me to be a super coarse short chop mouth and the female has one of those super fast pouring chop mouths. I'm sure you know the type, I'm not sure how she breathes at times. I try to run either a brace or 3 at most but I'm having to run either as soon as I get home from work in the mornings or at night due to the heat wave we're having. I'm healing and doing well from my surgery and can run after the hounds some now. These South Carolina Hounds are true Hillbilly dogs now. All jokes aside I just wanted to let you know that both dogs I've bought from you have worked out really nice for me and really rounded out my hunting pack and what type and bloodline I was wanting as well. I bought both dogs on your word. And please feel free to use me as a reference, because your word is good with me. Both dogs actually were better than advertised. Thanks again and may this message reach you and your family in good health and good spirits. Not that I'm anyone special, but I'll ask a prayer on your behalf to bless your ministry and that the Holy Spirit touch and soften those who may have hardened their heart. I'll also ask that God set a hadge about you and your family and ministry and pour His blessings upon you to be able to deliver the exact right words that will lead more souls to The only true plan of salvation there is through Jesus Christ. Until we meet or speak again, Bobby.
